Day 3: Red

Waiting for my next client & figured it was as good a time as any to do Day 3 of the challenge. There is nothing red in this room so I had to improvise :)

Day 1: 8 o’ clock

I was late, so playing a bit of catch up here! Tonight at 8, I will be watching this movie with two of my favorite people :)

A couple days late, but I’m doing it! Feeling inspired and wanting to try this whole thing out for real this time :)

My favorite all time musical is Les Miserables. The first time I saw it was at my high school, and even though the senior boy who played Marius was god awful, I still loved it.

Fast forward a few years to sophomore or junior year of college when I was visiting NY with my dad. He offered to take me to a Broadway show (and after lots of arm twisting) he agreed to see Les Mis.

We were both crying by the end. I am BEYOND excited for the movie to come out in December. The cast seems like they will be pretty great. But after hearing Eddie Redmayne sing a portion of Ave Maria in some random youtube video (part of a compilation of the other actors in the film singing), I was fighting back tears at work.

Do a youtube search for “eddie redmayne singing” and listen to “God is With Us (Eddie Redmayne singing).” He has a solo in it and he is unbelievable.

7 months and counting!!

Can’t. Stop. Crying & thinking about my dog Phoebe. I miss her every day.

Benefit High Beam- My favorite highlighter at the moment. Its been talked about to death on the internet so I won’t describe the color.  It gives the most perfect natural, pinky glow to the skin. I’ve also found that I love using it as an eyeshadow. Put it over UDPP and it stays put all day.

Nars Abyssinia eyeshadow-On the Sephora website it’s described as a delicate champagne shimmer. That’s pretty spot on. Its a beautiful brow highlight. I’ve found that the shimmer kind of gets lost as an all over lid color.

Laura Mercier Lipgloss in Bare Pink-A gorgeous light pink lip gloss. On my pigmented lips it shows up as a warmer version of Nars Turkish Delight.f

Show tunes make the best studying companion :). Listening to Spring Awakening makes the day a little better.

Last week I was relegated to working in the downstairs storage room taking inventory, so I didn’t get to post the Celebrity Look Friday. Next week will be the same, but every week after that there should be something.

I’ve been loving the 70s style jumpsuits a lot of celebrities are wearing. Minka Kelley Looks so effortlessly cool in this amazing outfit. Wish I could pull something like this off!!
